What is neuro-wellness?Wellness is a state of life balance among the 4 pillars of health: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Here at The Body Mechanic's Neuro-Wellness Popup Shop we aim to educate and to promote a lifestyle shift among our clients that empowers them to live in ways that will reduce the incidences of physical disease (especially those that may cause damage to the neurological system) and may result in physical dysfunction. Our neuro-wellness goal is to help clients to suffer less as they live longer.

How do I know if a screening is for me?The physical health screening is a form of preventative care that anyone can benefit from. An annual screening allows you to interact with a skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy who has been trained beside other advanced health care practitioners (such as Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses and Doctors of Pharmacy) in the evaluation of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. The Doctor of Physical Therapy is able to determine whether any physical functional deficits are present and require further attention/ referrals. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy may also provide recommendations on prevention of disease/ dysfunction based on data gathered and prognostic indicators identified during the screening process. Followup visits with your Doctor of Physical Therapy allows you to track your progress when indicated, & certain baseline information empowers you to communicate your health progress with your primary healthcare provider in between visits with him or her.
